Julie, the cruise director on the Pacific Princess, finds herself in a tricky situation when she falls hard for a passenger named Tony, who just happens to be engaged to somebody else. Meanwhile, Gopher, the ship's purser, is put in charge of two famous ventriloquists who have recently reunited after years of being apart. As Gopher tries to keep the two bickering partners from causing chaos, he also becomes involved in their latest scheme.
