Ep 2. The Promoter/The Judges/The Family Plan/Forever Engaged/May the Best Man Win (1)

The Love Boat season 4 episode 2, titled "The Promoter/The Judges/The Family Plan/Forever Engaged/May the Best Man Win (1)," features several love stories that take place aboard the Pacific Princess. In the first story, a talent promoter (played by Jayne Meadows) tries to convince reluctant performer Ray Bolger to come out of retirement and perform on her television show. Along the way, the two develop feelings for each other.

In the second story, a famous judge (played by Don Ameche) meets a beautiful woman, but he discovers that she is actually the attorney representing the other side of the case he's working on. Despite their professional conflict, the two find themselves attracted to each other and must struggle with their feelings.

The third story follows the adventures of a newlywed couple who decide to use their honeymoon to try and conceive a child. However, things don't go quite as planned, and they end up seeking the help of several unusual characters in their quest to start a family.

In the fourth story, a wealthy woman (played by Joan Fontaine) is engaged to a much younger man (played by Tom Sullivan). While she is convinced that he truly loves her, her friends and family are skeptical, and they begin to worry that she's making a mistake.

Finally, the episode features a competition between two men who are both vying for the affections of a beautiful woman (played by Marcia Wallace). As they each try to outdo the other, they both end up learning important lessons about the true nature of love and relationships.

Throughout the episode, the crew of the Pacific Princess works hard to ensure that all of their passengers have a fantastic and memorable time, setting the stage for plenty of romance, laughter, and drama along the way.
