Ep 22. Triathlon

Mindy is relieved when Danny confronts his ex-wife, Christina, over her alimony demands and they finally reach an agreement. Mindy decides to celebrate by participating in a triathlon, however, Danny is not too keen on the idea. Despite his reservations, Danny trains with Mindy for the triathlon but she soon realizes that she is not as good at the event as she thought. Mindy struggles with balancing her job and her training, and even gets a personal trainer, who turns out to be a little too concerned with her body.

Meanwhile, Peter is back in town and tells Jeremy that he intends to quit his job and start his own company. Jeremy is initially excited about the idea but after he sees how Peter interacts with his potential business partners, he begins to have doubts. At the same time, Morgan thinks he has found the perfect girl in the form of a nurse, but his efforts to woo her go a little too far.

As the triathlon draws near, Mindy realizes that she is not prepared for the swim portion and tries to get Danny to participate in her stead. However, Danny insists that she finish what she started and encourages her to keep going. Mindy manages to complete the race with Danny by her side, and then they both let loose with a wild victory celebration.
