Ep 2. The Buddha Bentley Birthday

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 7 episode 2 titled “The Buddha Bentley Birthday” follows the hot-blooded wives on their extravagant journeys in Beverly Hills. Lisa Rinna throws a barbecue dinner at her mansion, inviting all her glamorous girlfriends, including Erika Girardi, Kyle Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump. However, Lisa Rinna's daughters can’t attend the party as they have a modeling appointment to get to.

In the next scene, Erika Girardi meets up with her creative team to discuss her new music video for her alter ego, Erika Jayne. Meanwhile, Dorit Kemsley, the new member of the show, meets with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd. She wants Lisa’s help with launching her new swimwear line. However, Lisa is apprehensive about the idea as she is already busy with her restaurants, Vanderpump Dogs, and her charity work.

Meanwhile, Kyle Richards prepares for her upcoming party when she finds out that one of her guests, Faye Resnick, has written a book on her sister’s murder. She is reeling from the news and is unsure about inviting her to the party. However, Lisa Vanderpump convinces Kyle that she should be allowed to come, and Kyle ultimately agrees.

The next scene showcases Dorit heading off to the wedding of her husband’s business associate, with Lisa Rinna as her plus one. At the reception, Dorit flaunts her new bikini, which catches Lisa’s attention. Lisa Rinna jokes with her about the absence of her daughters from the barbecue dinner, pointing out that they may have been horrified at some of the things being discussed.

Finally, Kyle Richards’ party arrives, and the ladies don their best outfits for the grand event. The house is decorated with Buddha statues, candles, and other exotic embellishments. The guests include Erika Girardi, who arrives in an eccentric pink ponytail, and Faye Resnick, who makes an appearance despite the earlier setback.

As Kyle gives a tour of her house, she reveals her Bentley, which she bought herself as a birthday present. Surprisingly, Kyle reveals that she didn’t learn to drive until she was in her 30s. However, once she learned, she immediately bought the Bentley.

The episode continues as the party progresses and, as usual, some of the women have disagreements. Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson get into a disagreement, but things diffuse quickly. Kyle makes a speech and thanks everyone for attending her party and declares the end of the night. However, the ladies have one more surprise in store. They present Kyle with her very own Buddha statue, which brings her to tears.

“The Buddha Bentley Birthday” is full of luxury, drama, and a touch of Hollywood glamour, making it a must-watch for fans of the Real Housewives franchise.
