In the fourth episode of The Sing Off season 3, titled "Radio Hits & 60's Classics: Part II", the remaining six a cappella groups take the stage once again to showcase their vocal skills in a night filled with both contemporary and classic hits. The episode begins with a group performance of "This Love" by Maroon 5, setting the tone for the rest of the night. Host Nick Lachey introduces the judges, consisting of a cappella aficionado Ben Folds, singer-songwriter Shawn Stockman, and pop star Sara Bareilles. The first group to perform is a mixed ensemble from New York called Delilah, who choose to sing "Dream On" by Aerosmith. Their performance includes a powerful solo by group member Amy Whitcomb, impressing the judges and the audience alike. Next up is the all-male group Urban Method, who opt for a more recent hit with "Airplanes" by B.o.B. ft. Hayley Williams. Their rap-infused a cappella arrangement earns them high praise from the judges. Third to perform is the all-female group from Illinois, The Cat's Pajamas, who decide to go classic with "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Their energetic performance and intricate harmonies leave the judges thoroughly impressed. Up next is the all-male group Pentatonix, who wow the judges with their rendition of "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles. Their creative use of vocal percussion and innovative arrangements continue to set them apart from the competition. The fifth group to perform is the all-female ensemble Afro-Blue, who blend "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye with "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight & The Pips. Their soulful performance earns them yet another standing ovation from the judges. Last but not least, the all-male group Dartmouth Aires take the stage with "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. Their rock-infused arrangement and impressive choreography once again prove their worth as contenders in the competition. As the night comes to a close, the judges deliberate on which group will be the next to advance to the next round, leaving the fate of the remaining six in their hands.
