Ichigo transforms into a cat-like creature and heads out to stop the aliens from destroying the city. Meanwhile, Masaya waits for her but falls asleep.
When Ichigo returns, she finds that Masaya has left, and she feels sad and angry. Minto, one of her Mew Mew teammates, invites her to a fancy restaurant to cheer her up. While there, the girls see Masaya with another girl and assume he has moved on. Ichigo is heartbroken and cries while remembering how much she likes Masaya.
After the dinner, Ichigo and Minto go to a nearby park where they overhear a conversation between Masaya and a secret girl. They hide and listen, and Ichigo realizes that Masaya is talking about a cat he found and is hiding in the park. Ichigo is relieved to learn the truth and feels foolish for being jealous. She decides to help Masaya and the secret girl by bringing the cat medicine.
