Ep 13. The Island of Misfit Tech

In "The Island of Misfit Tech", the thirteenth episode of the second season of Transformers Rescue Bots, we find the Rescue Bots out on a mysterious and captivating Island. At first, the team of heroic Autobots are enjoying the peculiar island and its intriguing technology, taking time to examine and learn the latest advancements on the island. But, as always, a crisis somehow arises as a group of renegade robots on the island create havoc and threaten to upend the balance amongst the residents.

As its name suggests, the Island of Misfit Tech is inhabited solely by robots that are considered too old or defective. They are all jerry-rigged and have been cast out by their owners, left to fend for themselves. These unclaimed robots are forced into the limelight when things take a turn for the worse on the island and the Rescue Bots arrive to intervene.

Bumblebee, the leader of the Autobots team, works to keep the Rescue Bots focused and the situation under control, but soon learns that the island is loaded with more than just malfunctioning gadgets. The self-absorbed Bot, Blurr, soon shows up and becomes the biggest obstacle Bumblebee must contend with as Blurr questions his leadership in dealing with the situation.

Meanwhile, Heatwave - the head of the Rescue Bots team and the only member that can switch back and forth between Robot and truck form, works to get a grasp on the main antagonist Sinker. Sinker, one of the characters in the island, has been behaving erratically, causing his Robot friends to distance themselves from him. Heatwave is tasked with uncovering and correcting the problem before it's too late.

Additionally, on the island is a mysterious Robot known as Salvage. Salvage is the only bot on the island who strives to keep all the other bots in line and act as a law enforcement; however, as his past is revealed, it comes to light that there is more to this bot than meets the eye.

Throughout the episode, it's clear that teamwork and open communication between all parties involve will be the key to resolving the issues on the island and in restoring the status quo. Will the Rescue Bots be able to help the disorderly bots and bring peace to the chaos on the Island of Misfit Tech? Tune in to find out!
