Ep 9. Letter

Kazuya is visited by Chisato Chikaishi, an old friend of his mother's who he has never met before. She brings with her a letter from Kazuya's mother, and reveals that she has been looking for Kazuya for some time. Chisato is shown around the house by Kazuya's friends, and is amazed by the various tsukumogami that she sees. She is particularly interested in Kiriha, and is shocked to learn that she is Kazuya's partner. Chisato tells Kazuya that she has come to take him back to his homeland, but Kazuya is hesitant. Chisato reveals that there are others who are after Kazuya, and that he and Kiriha are in danger. Kazuya must decide whether to leave with Chisato or stay with his friends.
