Ep 21. Gumby With a Pokey

In Two and a Half Men season 7 episode 21 titled "Gumby With a Pokey," the Harper brothers, Charlie and Alan, find themselves dealing with a sticky situation when they both become attracted to the same woman.

The episode starts with Charlie receiving a call from a woman he met the night before, named Gloria. She invites him to meet her at a bar. Charlie is ecstatic, but things quickly take a turn when Alan shows up at the same bar, also hoping to meet Gloria.

After realizing that they are both interested in the same woman, Charlie and Alan decide to make a bet to see who would be able to win her over. The bet involves them both using pick-up lines on her, and the winner would receive a valuable antique watch that belonged to their grandfather.

The rest of the episode involves Charlie and Alan trying to one-up each other while wooing Gloria. In typical Two and a Half Men fashion, the humor is crude and raunchy, and there are several awkward and hilarious moments.

At one point, Charlie tries to impress Gloria by telling her that he has a Porsche. But when they go outside to leave, they realize that someone has parked their car so close to Charlie's that he can't get in. In a comedic sequence, Charlie tries to squeeze through the window of the car, but gets his gum stuck in the door. The resulting chaos is both absurd and hysterical.

Meanwhile, Alan tries to impress Gloria by talking about his job as a chiropractor. He shows her a chart of the human spine and attempts to explain how important it is to keep the spinal cord in alignment. But when Gloria mentions that she has scoliosis, Alan gets nervous and accidentally reveals that he wasn't paying attention in class when that topic was covered.

As the night progresses, it becomes apparent that Gloria is more interested in Charlie than Alan, which makes Alan increasingly jealous. He tries to sabotage Charlie's efforts by spiking his drink with a laxative. Charlie spends half of the episode desperately trying to find a bathroom, leading to several hilarious scenes.

In the end, however, it is revealed that Gloria is not what she seems. She is actually a con artist who has been using different aliases to scam wealthy men out of their money. When Alan and Charlie both realize what is going on, they team up to get their revenge on Gloria.

Without giving away too much of the plot, let's just say that the final scene of the episode involves a hilarious game of "truth or dare" that involves all three characters and ends with a surprising twist.

Overall, "Gumby With a Pokey" is a quintessential episode of Two and a Half Men. It's crude, it's raunchy, and it's downright ridiculous at times. But it's also incredibly funny and highlights the great chemistry between Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer. If you're a fan of the show, this episode is a must-watch.
