Ultra Maniac Season 1 Episode 1 Ayu & Nina

Ayu Tateishi is a spunky and energetic middle school student who is excited to start a new school year. Her life takes a turn when she meets Nina Sakura, a transfer student from the Magical Kingdom. Nina is a self-proclaimed witch who has come to Earth to complete her training by helping humans with their problems.

Ayu is skeptical of Nina's abilities, but Nina quickly proves herself by casting a spell to help Ayu win a foot race at school. From that moment on, the two become fast friends and Nina begins to help Ayu with her problems.

In the first episode, Ayu is struggling to confess her feelings to her crush, Kaji. Nina offers to help Ayu by casting a love spell; however, the spell goes awry and Ayu's confession ends up being broadcasted to the entire school. Embarrassed and humiliated, Ayu blames Nina for the mishap and the two have a falling out.

As Ayu tries to make amends with Nina, she discovers that Nina is also struggling with her own problems. Nina is having difficulty completing her training and fears that she may never become a full-fledged witch. Ayu assures Nina that she believes in her and promises to help her in any way she can.

Together, Ayu and Nina navigate the ups and downs of middle school life while also dealing with the challenges that come with being a human and a witch. Can they mend their friendship and help each other achieve their goals? Find out in the first episode of Ultra Maniac!
