In Unnatural History season 1 episode 1, titled "Pilot - The Victor Belongs to the Spoils," we are introduced to Henry Griffin, a teenage boy who has spent most of his life traveling the world with his parents while they pursue their work as anthropologists. When his parents decide to send him to the American Museum of Natural History to live with his uncle Bryan, Henry expects to be bored out of his mind. However, he soon discovers that his new home is anything but dull.

On his first day at the museum, Henry meets a group of students who are participating in a summer program, including the confident and popular Maggie Winnock, the brainy and awkward Jasper Bartlett, and the rebellious and mysterious "Mystic" who prefers to go by her nickname. The students are tasked with solving a mystery that involves a stolen artifact from the museum's collection, which leads them to a secret room hidden deep within the building.

In this room, they discover a map that appears to lead to a treasure hidden somewhere within the museum. As they set out to follow the clues and solve the mystery, the group encounters a series of challenges and obstacles, including a rival group of students who are also competing to find the treasure.

As Henry and his new friends navigate the museum's hidden tunnels and secret passages, they begin to piece together the bigger picture of what is really going on. Along the way, they learn about the history and legacy of the museum, as well as the various creatures and artifacts that are housed within its walls.

At the heart of the mystery is a powerful artifact known as the "Victor," which appears to have been stolen by a group of thieves who are planning to use it for their own nefarious purposes. As Henry and his friends race to find the Victor before it falls into the wrong hands, they must also contend with the dangers and challenges that come with exploring the museum's hidden corners and secrets.

Through it all, Henry must learn to navigate his new surroundings and make sense of the family secrets and mysteries that have kept him on the move for most of his life. With the help of his new friends, however, he may just be able to uncover the truth and save the day.
