Unnatural History is an action-adventure, mystery, and fantasy television series starring Kevin Schmidt, co-created by Mike Werb and Michael Colleary, and produced by Warner Horizon Television. The story revolves around Henry Griffin, a teenager who after spending his whole life traveling around the world with his parents, renowned anthropologists, is sent to live with his uncle in Washington D.C., a place filled with peculiar secrets and events.

Henry is not an ordinary teen; his unique upbringing has given him a vast knowledge of history, anthropology, and other sciences that prove useful when he is enrolled in the National Museum of Natural History school. Henry's quick-witted brain helps him to solve historical mysteries and mythological riddles that his classmates cannot even comprehend.

Henry makes new friends at the museum school, Jasper, an over-excited computer nerd, and Maggie, a smart girl with a passion for adventure, and the three of them soon embark on daring explorations to solve the biggest mysteries in D.C.

Throughout the series, Henry and his team investigate a range of artifacts that lead them to unexpected discoveries, from a legendary sword to an ancient scroll, and even to discovering a hidden city beneath the capital.

In addition to the primary plot details, the series features a few subplots that enrich the show, such as Henry's desire to find out what happened to his absent parents, Jasper's romantic interest in Maggie, and Henry's uncle's mysterious past.

Unnatural History is an exciting and captivating show that blends adventure, science, and history with a touch of fantasy. The charismatic cast portrays their roles with conviction, and the mix of mythology and science is genuinely intriguing.

The show is intended for a young audience, but it offers plenty of entertainment value for viewers of all ages. The series' visuals are impressive, as are the twists and turns of each episode.

Each installment offers a fresh mystery with a different cultural or historical background, e.g., an Egyptian sarcophagus or Aztec artifacts. Throughout the exploration of each artifact, Henry discovers underlying stories of various cultures and how their pasts relate to their modern counterparts. The show is thus educational, as it turns each mystery into a learning lesson without ever feeling preachy.

Unnatural History's production is spot-on; the music is fitting, and the editing genuinely contributes to the suspense of each episode. As the mysteries unfold, viewers cannot help but feel engaged in the excitement and curious about what will happen next.

In summary, Unnatural History is an enjoyable and informative series that combines science, history, and mythology in a way that is both entertaining and enlightening. The characters are compelling and relatable, and the mysteries are intriguing and thought-provoking. Whether you are a young enthusiast or an adult history buff, Unnatural History is a must-watch show.
