The couple, Tim and Melissa, purchased the condo as a vacation spot for themselves and their two young daughters, but the space is cramped, dark and dull. Matt begins by completely gutting the cramped and outdated kitchen. He installs new cabinets, countertops, appliances and a stylish backsplash. The new kitchen is bright and inviting, and includes a cozy breakfast nook where the family can enjoy meals together.

Next up, Matt tackles the living room, which is particularly dark and uninviting. Matt adds tons of light with new recessed lighting and a cheerful color scheme of blues and grays. He also adds some stylish, space-saving furniture to make the most of the small space.
