Ep 13. Deep Crimson Chain

Deep Crimson Chain is the 13th episode of Vampire Knight season 1. The episode continues the story of Yuki Cross, who is a student at Cross Academy, a school that is divided into two classes- Day and Night. Students of the Day Class are humans, and the students of the Night Class are vampires. Yuki is a guardian of the Night Class, along with her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu.

Yuki leaves Zero with Kaname and returns to the Day Class. She sees her friend, Sayori Wakaba, who is worried about her upcoming exam. Yuki encourages her and tells her that she will do well.

Later, Yuki learns that Kaname has taken Zero to his mansion. She is worried about him and thinks that she should go and check on him. She leaves the academy and goes to Kaname's mansion.

When Yuki reaches the mansion, she sees Kaname and Zero talking. Kaname tells her that Zero needs to feed on his blood to survive. Yuki is shocked and asks Kaname to explain why he wants Zero to become a vampire. Kaname reveals that Zero is a Pureblood vampire, just like him, and that he needs to be turned into a vampire to complete his transformation.

Yuki is surprised and can't believe what she has just heard. Kaname tells her that he wants to use Zero to destroy Rido, who is his own brother and a dangerous Pureblood vampire. Kaname thinks that Zero's power as a Pureblood can help him defeat Rido.

Yuki is confused and doesn't know what to do. She wants to help Zero, but she also knows that turning him into a vampire is not a good idea. Kaname gives her some time to make up her mind and leaves with Zero.

The episode ends with Yuki standing alone in Kaname's garden. She is lost in thought and can't decide whether to help Zero or not. She knows that the decision she makes will have a huge impact on their lives.
