Levi is moved to see photos of his great-grandfather in uniform, and Compin explains how his service affected his family's history.

Finally, Levi meets with genealogist Stéphane Cosson at the Archives Nationales, where he finds records of his ancestors dating back to the 1700s. Cosson explains how to interpret the records and shows Levi some surprising family connections.
