The Pillar of Light is the fifteenth episode of the fifth season of Winx Club. In this episode, the Winx are still on their quest to find Eldora, the fairy godmother who holds the key to defeating Acheron, the wizard trying to steal magic to become the most powerful being in the Magic Dimension. The Winx are looking for a fairy named Selina who they believe might have the information they need to find Eldora.
The Winx travel to Gardenia, where they meet up with Roxy, the last fairy on Earth, and her father Klaus. Roxy agrees to help them find Selina, but Klaus is suspicious of the Winx and their intentions. He tries to convince Roxy not to trust them, but she knows that they are good and agrees to help.
Meanwhile, Acheron is still on the hunt for the Ultimate Power, which he believes is located in the Pillar of Light. He sends his minions to find it, but they are unsuccessful. Acheron then decides to take matters into his own hands and travels to Gardenia himself.
When the Winx and Roxy find Selina, she is hesitant to help them at first. She reveals that she has been working with Acheron and is responsible for turning the Trix into a powerful trio. The Winx are shocked and disappointed, but they convince Selina to help them by showing her that Acheron is only using her for his own gain.
Together, they set off to find Eldora, but Acheron is hot on their heels. He tries to stop them by creating a powerful storm, but the Winx are able to harness their magic and overcome the obstacle. They arrive at the Pillar of Light, where they face Acheron and his minions in a fierce battle.
In the end, the Winx are able to defeat Acheron and destroy the Pillar of Light, preventing him from obtaining the Ultimate Power. Selina is redeemed and decides to join the Winx in their quest to find Eldora and save the Magic Dimension.
