Watch XXXHolic

The story of XXXHolic focuses on a young high school student named Kimihiro Watanuki who is cursed by troublesome sprits, Yokai and Ayakashi. These spirits are invisible to everyone around Kimihiro and have a strong attraction toward him. Kimihiro goes into a shop that allows him to grant any wish he wants. The catch to this is that the more he wishes, the more the events and things in his life start to get pretty weird.

Things get even weird when the owner of the shop, Yuko Ichihara, is a mysterious witch with a mysterious past. She offers to put an end to Kimihiro's suffering by getting rid of the spirits haunting him. Kimihiro repays Yuko by working for her as a part-time employee. When it comes to Kimihiro's job, it's quite an unusual task. He's in charge of dealing with not only household chores for Yuko, but supernatural tasks.

As time goes by, Kimihiro's love interest, Himawari Kunogi, and classmate, Shizuka Domeki, help out Kimihiro at his work at Yuko's request. Over time, the three of them become extremely close and fond of each other. Even though Kimihiro is very happy about this, he also can't help but feel like he should look out for Yuko. He is determined to try granted her wish to the best of his ability.

As the story unfolds, Kimihiro delves deeper into the spiritual world, becomore more accustomed to it while gaining and enhancing his abilities. He later finds out that Yuko is slowly dying and was accidentally frozen by a wizard named Clow Reed. He decided to keep her alive for many years because of this. As Yuko's ability to keep the shop's magical existence slowly fades, she tells Kimihiko that he will be free from all of the demons haunting him after she passes away. Instead of accepting this, he chooses to keep his ability and enhance his magic powers only to keep Yuko's shop alive as it's new owner.
