Emerging from the field of this season's competitors as the best" of New York, Ian McGillivary "Cutless" (Brooklyn), Jonathan Maladano"Jonny Mal" (Manhattan), McArthur Simon "BGB"(Queens), and Rashard Leverett "Boomshard"(Bronx) kick off a freestyle battle to determine which pairs will go head-to-head in Round 2. After the round, Wilmer gives stand-out Rashard Leverett "Boomshard" (Bronx) the right to challenge any competitor. Leverett calls out Ian McGillivary "Cutless" (Brooklyn), leaving Jonathan Maladano "Jonny Mal" (Manhattan) to take on "BGB" (Queens). Wilmer introduces the jury of previously defeated players: Jordan Schulkin "Hair Jordan"(Morris Park), Emmanuel Guzman "E-Man"(Washington Heights), Glenn Ford (Bensonhurst), and John Rickenbacker "Fudge" (Forrest Hills). Wilmer then announces that this jury will be made up of these recently defeated contestants' Moms.
