Princess Yona, the sole heir to the Kingdom of Kouka, is on the run after the tragic death of her father, King II. In the meantime, the enemy soldiers have mobilized and are searching for the princess throughout the kingdom. The soldiers are being led by Yona's cousin, Soo-won, who had killed her father and usurped the throne. Soo-won is a ruthless and ambitious man who has his own plans for the kingdom.

The episode ends with Yona and Hak continuing their journey to find the legendary dragon, while Soo-won and his soldiers close in on their location.
