After being forced out of her comfort zone by Hak, Yona is now traveling with him, Son Mundok's grandson, and the priest Ik-su. Despite being initially resentful towards Hak's attitude and untrusting of the people around her, Yona has begun to open up and bond with the small group.

As they venture through the forest, they stumble upon a young boy named Tae-jun who is being bullied by a group of older boys. Hak intervenes, quickly dispatching the bullies and earning the gratitude of Tae-jun and his sister Tao. It is then revealed that Tao is a skilled archer, and the group agrees to help her find a mythical flower she needs for her medicine.

Their journey leads them to a town on the edge of the Fire Tribe's territory, where they discover that they are being stalked by a group of bandits known as the Blue Dragon. Hak and the others decide to stay in the town to lay low while Tao searches for the flower, but tensions begin to rise as they realize they may not be able to avoid a confrontation with the Blue Dragon forever.

Meanwhile, Yona continues to struggle with the weight of her new responsibilities and her own lack of knowledge and skills. She begins to train with Hak in secret, determined to become stronger and more self-sufficient. This determination is put to the test when they are ambushed by the Blue Dragon, and Yona must fight to protect her friends and her newfound courage.

As the group continues their journey, they begin to realize the true nature of the political tensions and power struggles in the kingdom, and the role they may play in them. Yona must learn to confront her fears and navigate the dangerous waters of politics and power if she hopes to save her kingdom and those she cares about.
