Ep 21. And the Ten Inches

In this episode of 2 Broke Girls, entitled "And the Ten Inches," Max and Caroline find themselves in a sticky situation when a customer at the diner they work at leaves them a rather large tip - a ten-inch wad of cash. They realize they can't deposit it without arousing suspicion, so the two decide to hide it in the apartment they share.

Meanwhile, Sophie is preparing for her ultrasound scan, but Oleg's behavior is causing her to doubt their relationship. She confides in Caroline, who tries to help her sort through her feelings. Elsewhere, Han is excited to have his ducklings finally hatching, but is disappointed when they don't turn out the way he expected.

As Max and Caroline try to figure out what to do with their newfound wealth, they start to bicker about the best way to use it. Max wants to use it to buy a new oven for their cupcake business, while Caroline thinks they should splurge on a fancy dinner. The tension over the money starts to strain their friendship, leading to some pretty hilarious moments throughout the episode.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Oleg continue to have problems, with Oleg threatening to leave if Sophie goes through with the ultrasound without him. Caroline tries to mediate the situation, but it seems like things might be over for good between the two.

Throughout the episode, we also see some funny moments between Han and Earl, as well as Sophie and her doctor. But the real heart of the episode is the relationship between Max and Caroline, and how the unexpected windfall of cash puts a strain on their already tenuous friendship.
