Ep 3. At Heart

Lucy has finally escaped from the facility she was held in, but now she is faced with the harsh reality of the outside world. After a violent encounter with a couple on the beach, Lucy flees the scene and finds herself in the nearby town of Kamakura.

Meanwhile, Kouta and Yuka continue to search for their missing cousin, but their efforts are slowed down by the news that Nyu, the amnesiac girl they found on the beach, has gone missing as well. As they search for Nyu, they begin to uncover clues about the true nature of the invisible threat that surrounds them.

As Lucy tries to survive in the chaos of the town, she begins to experience strange flashbacks and memories of her past. These memories are filled with violence and pain, and they make it clear that Lucy's current state is the result of years of experimentation and torture.

As Lucy struggles to come to terms with her past, Kouta and Yuka continue to search for their missing cousin. They eventually find her in the custody of a group of thugs who have been hired by the facility to retrieve Lucy. In a last ditch effort, Lucy unleashes her powers and defeats the thugs, but not before Kouta is gravely injured.

As the episode draws to a close, the true extent of Lucy's powers is revealed, and viewers are left wondering what kind of monster she truly is. Will she ever be able to find redemption for the atrocities she has committed, or will she succumb to her darker impulses and become a force of destruction and chaos?
