Ep 12. Slave

Ray Romano stars in Everybody Loves Raymond, a comedy series about a family man named Raymond Barone. The show follows the ups and downs of Raymond's life and the people around him, including his wife Debra and his parents Frank and Marie. In season 8 episode 12, titled "Slave," Raymond finds himself in a difficult situation when he volunteers to help out at his daughter's school.

The episode begins with Raymond feeling guilty about not getting involved in his daughter's school activities. He decides to make it up to her by agreeing to help out at the school's Thanksgiving play. However, things quickly spiral out of control when Raymond is put in charge of the entire production. He soon realizes that he has signed up for more than he can handle when he is given the job of "slave driver" for the group.

As if things were not bad enough, Raymond's mother Marie decides to get involved in the play as well. She takes it upon herself to make all the costumes for the production, despite the fact that she has never made a costume before in her life. Raymond is less than thrilled with his mother's involvement, but he is too afraid to say anything to her.

Meanwhile, Debra is busy cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the family, but she is having trouble getting everything done on time. She enlists the help of Raymond's brother Robert, who is more than happy to lend a hand. However, Robert proves to be a bit of a distraction, and Debra soon realizes that she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

As the play draws nearer, Raymond's stress level continues to rise. He has to deal with a group of rowdy children who do not want to follow his instructions, a mother who is constantly hovering over him, and a wife who is struggling to keep the Thanksgiving dinner on track. All of this culminates in a series of mishaps and misunderstandings that threaten to derail the entire production.

Despite all the chaos, the play turns out to be a success thanks to Raymond's quick thinking and determination. The audience is impressed by the children's performance, and Raymond feels a sense of pride in his daughter's accomplishment. In the end, everyone comes together for a Thanksgiving dinner that is filled with laughter and love, reminding viewers why everybody loves Raymond.
