In Performance at The White House presents the musical events that have happened in the White House's East Room. Since 1978 the show has been produced by WETA and showcased on the local channel PBS. For years the president and first lady has hosted this gathering with various genre of American performances. The program was developed to exhibit the many beauties of the American cultural in the most suited American home.

The show has featured many famous artist over the years including Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jamie Foxx, Marc Anthony, Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson and many more. The show has focused on over seven shows
