After receiving a mysterious message, SG-1 is sent to investigate an alien ship found on Earth. Upon examining the craft, they discover it to be of Goa'uld design, but with an unknown power source.
Through further investigation, SG-1 finds that the ship belongs to a secretive organization known as The Trust. This organization is made up of wealthy individuals who use their power and resources to try and control the Goa'uld and use their technology for their own gain.
The team learns that The Trust has been working on a new weapon called Project Prometheus, which they intend to use against the Goa'uld. However, the weapon is unstable and poses a risk to both the Goa'uld and Earth if it were to be used.
As SG-1 races to stop The Trust from using the weapon, they come into contact with a former member of the organization, Dr. Daniel Jackson's old friend, who warns them of the true nature of the group's intentions.
With time running out and the threat of annihilation looming over both Earth and the Goa'uld, SG-1 must work to stop The Trust and protect the galaxy before it's too late.
