Ep 2. The Fire

The second episode of Under the Dome season 1 is entitled "The Fire." In this installment, the residents of Chester's Mill are still struggling to come to terms with the sudden appearance of the mysterious dome that has enveloped their town. As tensions mount and supplies run low, the community is faced with a new threat: a raging wildfire that threatens to consume everything in its path.

As the fire rages out of control, the residents of Chester's Mill are forced to work together to try and contain the blaze. But with their resources already stretched to the limit, it quickly becomes clear that they are in over their heads. As the flames close in, tempers flare and long-buried secrets begin to emerge.

Meanwhile, a group of residents sets out to investigate the cause of the dome and try to find a way to escape from its confines. Led by local newspaper editor Julia Shumway, the group includes Iraq War veteran Dale 'Barbie' Barbara, schoolteacher Carolyn Hill, and high school student Joe McAlister. Together, they begin to piece together a bizarre and unsettling conspiracy that stretches back decades, and which seems to be connected to the appearance of the dome.

As the residents of Chester's Mill struggle to survive the inferno that is consuming their town, they are forced to confront the stark reality of their situation. With no hope of rescue and no way to escape, they are trapped under the dome - and the situation is rapidly spiraling out of control. In this tense and gripping episode, viewers are taken on a rollercoaster ride of suspense and drama as the residents of Chester's Mill are pushed to their limits in their fight for survival.
