WWE: WrestleMania XXVIII was a grand spectacle that took place on April 1, 2012, at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The event was the twenty-eighth annual WrestleMania and was attended by over 78,000 fans from all around the world. The flagship show of WWE, Smackdown, hosted the event, and the roster boasted some of the biggest superstars in the industry at the time. For starters, the main event featured WWE's top stars, John Cena and The Rock, in a highly anticipated clash.

Another marquee match at the event pitted The Undertaker against Triple H inside Hell in a Cell. The two legends had already faced each other at WrestleMania (XXVII), and the stipulation of Hell in a Cell only amplified the intensity of the match.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, made his long-awaited return to WWE after an eight-year hiatus to take on John Cena's real-life friend and former tag-team partner, The Miz. Randy Orton squared off against Kane in a grudge match, and Edge was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before his retirement from the ring.

In the Women's division, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix teamed up with Eve Torres to take on Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos. Meanwhile, RAW Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, was still years away from making her main roster debut.

The event also featured a number of legendary and popular stars from yesteryear. Stone Cold Steve Austin, who retired from in-ring competition in 1999, made an appearance and got involved in a backstage segment with the show's General Manager, Theodore Long.

Another legend, Shawn Michaels, appeared as a referee in the match between Triple H and The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell.

Other notable performers at the event include BookerT, Jerry Lawler, John Layfield, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, A.J. Styles, Sami Zayn, Kurt Angle, and Paul Heyman. The ring announcers for the night were Lilian Garcia, Tony Chimel, and Justin Roberts.

One of the most memorable moments of the night came when a young crowd favorite by the name of Hornswoggle was revealed as the "Anonymous Raw General Manager," who had been sending cryptic messages to the roster for months through a voice-modulating computer program.

WrestleMania XXVIII also featured a number of comedic segments and backstage skits, including a memorable encounter between Santino Marella and Mick Foley.

Overall, WWE: WrestleMania XXVIII was a star-studded event that showcased some of the biggest and brightest stars in the industry. With intense matches, memorable moments, and a full-house crowd, it was truly a spectacle to behold.
