Elizabeth Gates has the job of serving eviction papers on a man who has decided to create the North Pole at his home. The only problem with this idea is that he lives in a residential neighborhood, and it is illegal for the commercial business to be run from his home. The man has good intentions, as he gives gifts to children. However, Gates wants to run for mayor of the town. She also wants to keep the real reason she doesn't like Santa from her young son. A man interested in Gates, a local reporter, follows the case to the end as a land developer who has an attitude like Scrooge gets involved.
