The movie An Unfinished Affair follows Alex, who is a college professor. He lives in Tucson, Arizona, and teaches at the local college. His wife Cynthia finds out that she has cancer. While she is fighting for her life Alex has an affair with one of his students named Shelia. He realizes he has done wrong and ends his relationship. Alex feels guilty for what he has done and has regretted what he has done. Shelia does not feel the same. Shelia cannot let go of Alex and plans to get revenge on him. At this time Cynthia’s cancer goes into remission and her chances of survival has drastically increased. Alex and Cynthia work on their relationship and slowly regain their happiness. Still Shelia cannot let go. Her goal is to get back at Alex and she even dates his son to get back at him. This movie stars Jennie Garth, Tim Matheson, and Leigh Taylor-Young.
