Bye Bye Braverman

"This motion picture is conceived to erase the memory of Leslie Braverman who had the poor taste to drop dead, without warning, thereby inflicting on his family and friends all sorts of burdensome inconveniences--like, for openers, the funeral."

This film is a departure for the film's director, Sidney Lumet. This comedy deals with four Jewish intellectuals on a road trip to a friend's funeral. The group has an encounter with a yiddish speaking black cabbie, and stops off at the wrong funeral. But the highlight is the banter between the four men.
