CJ7 is about a poor man named Chow Ti and his son, Dicky, who end up with an extraordinary toy that turns out to be an alien creature. Chow Ti is a poor construction worker trying to make ends meet and provide for his son. Chow Ti wants his son to go to a private school and have all the opportunities that Chow did not have. Chow Ti cannot provide everything for his son, and as a result Dicky has to go without new toys and clothes.

Dicky is unhappy and unpopular at the private school because all the other kids are rich and have the newest and most popular toys. Chow Ti knows that his son is having a hard time at school because of their financial problems and desperately wants to help. One day Chow Ti finds an odd-looking orb at a junkyard that he mistakes for a toy and takes it home to his son. He tells Dicky it is a new toy. After playing with the orb, Dicky realizes that the orb is actually an alien creature. He names the orb CJ7 and takes it to school with him in hopes that the alien creature can help him make friends. The fun, humor and trouble begin when Dicky gets CJ7 to school.

CJ7 is a fun and humorous ride. The alien creature that Dicky names CJ7 is responsible for most of the fun and humor.
