The In-Laws (2003) is a comedy and a remake of the 1979 film. It follows Mark and Melissa as they are about to get married. Her father, Jerry Peyser, is a foot doctor, but his father, Steve Tobias, is an undercover agent for the CIA. Steve is always working, and one day, Jerry discovers his next secret operation. As Jerry somehow becomes more and more involved, the two fathers get entangled in the action and near-death situations so much to the point that Jerry becomes very concerned and disheartened that this is supposed to be his daughter's new father-in-law.
