Watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty follows the life of a Time Life employee, Walter Mitty, who is in charge of verifying negatives from Life photographers as they’re sent in. Mitty is prone to spacing out throughout the day, and daydreaming about traveling to some of the places displayed in the photos in Life. When Life decides to make the move from print to online-only, Walter is responsible for delivering a photo from Sean O’Connell, one of the few photographers who still shoots on film to be used for the final issue’s cover. While O’Connell’s final roll of film was delivered to Walter’s office, frame 25, which is planned to be used for the magazine’s cover, is missing.

Now with his job and the jobs of his friends threatened, Walter goes on a worldwide journey to track down O’Connell and the missing negative. The journey takes him to several countries, with a number of fantastic adventures along the way.

The movie is based on a short story by James Thurber, and stars Ben Stiller as Walter Mitty, Sean Penn as Sean O’Connell, and Kristin Wiig as Cheryl, Walter’s love interest.
