Uranus is a French film set in the immediate time after World War Two. The village is governed by the local communist party, and they are determined to get rid of anyone who was loyal to the wartime Vichy government, which was led by Petain. The story centers around a non-political bar owner who just wants to be left alone, while the local communists want to get rid of him. The bar owner fights back in this comedy-drama.
