The episode, Culture Shock, is a part of the debut season of 90 Day Fiancé, a reality TV show that follows the journey of six Americans who fell in love with foreigners and are now struggling to navigate their relationships. In this episode, viewers get to see how the couples handle cultural differences and learn more about their backgrounds and daily routines.

The first couple, Alan and Kirlyam, are reuniting after two years of only being able to communicate through Skype. Alan is excited to show Kirlyam around his hometown in Los Angeles and experience American life with her, but Kirlyam is struggling to adjust. She feels homesick and overwhelmed by all the new experiences. Meanwhile, Alan is struggling to balance his conservative Christian values and accommodate Kirlyam's Brazilian culture. They clash when it comes to their religious beliefs and expectations for physical intimacy in their relationship.

The second couple, Mike and Aziza, are also facing challenges due to cultural differences. Aziza is from Russia and comes to America to marry Mike, but she quickly realizes that life in America is very different from what she's used to. She feels isolated and lonely, and the two struggle to connect and communicate. Mike struggles to understand Aziza's Russian background and her expectations of their relationship, leading to misunderstandings and conflicts.

The third couple, Russ and Paola, are also dealing with cultural differences, specifically when it comes to expressing emotions and physical affection. Russ comes from a traditional conservative family in Oklahoma while Paola is from Colombia, and they often clash over their different expectations for their relationship. Paola feels frustrated that Russ isn't more affectionate and open with his emotions, while Russ feels uncomfortable with Paola's revealing clothing choices and outgoing personality.

The fourth couple, Louis and Aya, are also trying to find a balance between their different cultures. Aya is from the Philippines and moves to America to marry Louis, but she quickly realizes that she has to adapt to a new lifestyle. She struggles to connect with Louis' friends and family and feels out of place. Meanwhile, Louis' family is wary of Aya's intentions and questions whether she's really in love with him or just looking for a green card.

Throughout the episode, viewers get to see the couples interact and learn more about each other's cultures and ways of life. They struggle to bridge the gap between their differences and find common ground, leading to conflicts, misunderstandings, and tensions. However, they also learn valuable lessons about communication, compromise, and respect.

In the end, viewers are left with a cliffhanger as they see how each couple handles their respective issues and whether their relationships can withstand the challenges of cultural differences. The episode sets the stage for the rest of the season, which promises to be filled with drama, romance, and unexpected twists and turns.
