Ep 7. (Span Sub) Wonderland

Alice season 1 episode 7, titled "Span Sub" takes the audience to Wonderland as the story progresses further. The show revolves around Alice, a girl with amnesia who is trying to find her lost memories. Her journey takes her to a parallel world where she meets various characters, some friendly and some not so much.

In this episode, Alice and her companions delve deeper into Wonderland. They arrive in a forest and encounter a Span Sub, a creature that exists to protect the forest from intruders. The group tries to reason with the Span Subs, but their efforts are in vain. The Span Subs attack them, forcing them to fight for their lives.

As they continue their journey, Alice's companions, Hatter, and White Rabbit explain to her the various factions that exist in Wonderland. The land is divided between the Red Queen, the White Queen, and the Queen of Hearts. Each queen rules over her own territory and possesses unique powers. They also explain that the Jabberwocky, a dangerous creature that once threatened the land, was defeated by the three queens working together.

Alice's team ultimately reaches the Red Queen's territory and begins to navigate through her castle. They encounter a very interesting character in the Red Queen's gardener, who is insistent on Alice and her team completing a maze that he has created. This maze is a test to gain an audience with the Red Queen. Alice and Hatter complete the maze, but the question arises whether they actually want to meet the Red Queen.

As they enter the throne room, they encounter not only the Red Queen but also the Queen of Hearts. The two queens are in an argument, and Alice and her group have unknowingly walked in on the conflict. The Queen of Hearts accuses the Red Queen of stealing her tarts, and the Red Queen responds with threats of war. However, Alice notices a slight inconsistency in the statements from both sides.

Alice and her team ultimately decide to leave the throne room, but not before they are offered some help from one of the queens. This help comes at a price, however, and Alice's companions become suspicious of the offer.

As the episode concludes, Alice and her friends continue their journey through Wonderland, questioning events and motives as they go. The show continues to take on a darker tone as Alice and company uncover more secrets about the land and its inhabitants.
