Mark and Scott were very close growing up and always looked out for each other. However, as they got older, Mark became increasingly jealous of Scott's success in the business world. Despite being successful in his own right, Mark couldn't help but feel envious of his brother's accomplishments.
One day, Mark came up with a plan to get rid of Scott once and for all. He convinced Scott to come to his house, claiming that they were going to discuss a business opportunity. When Scott arrived, Mark shot him in the head and attempted to make it look like a suicide.

As the investigation continued, Mark became increasingly frantic and paranoid. He knew that the police were on to him and that he needed to get rid of any evidence that could incriminate him.
To do this, Mark came up with an even more heinous plan. He murdered his own wife, Dawn, and tried to make it look like Scott had done it before taking his own life.
Despite Mark's best efforts to cover his tracks, the police were eventually able to piece together the truth about what had happened. Mark was arrested, tried and convicted for both murders.
