Bourdain then takes a trip to ChiloƩ Island, a place known for its fresh seafood, stunning beaches, and unique architecture. He explores the island's historic wooden churches, which are UNESCO World Heritage sites, and enjoys a traditional curanto, a type of seafood stew that is cooked underground using hot stones.

Finally, Bourdain travels to the wilderness of Patagonia, where he meets up with a gaucho, a South American cowboy, and learns about their way of life. He explores the rugged terrain and enjoys a traditional asado with his new friend, while taking in the breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains.
