Ep 1. Legacy

Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, returns to Star City five months after the dramatic events of the season four finale. During that time, Team Arrow has disbanded and Oliver has been working alone to keep the city safe. However, his solitude is soon disrupted by the arrival of a new vigilante, who is inspired by Green Arrow to take justice into his own hands. While Oliver is initially wary of the newcomer, he soon realizes that the man is fighting for the same cause and reluctantly agrees to work with him. The two heroes team up to take on a violent gang that is terrorizing the city, but their differences in approach and ideology threaten to tear them apart. Meanwhile, Oliver struggles to balance his crusade against crime with his duties as Star City's newly elected mayor, and faces opposition from a wealthy businessman and a skeptical police force who doubt his ability to clean up the city. As he tries to juggle his dual roles and build a new team, Oliver is haunted by the legacy of his past mistakes and the ghosts of his old enemies. The season premiere sets the stage for a season of action, drama, and intrigue as Arrow faces new challenges and old foes.
