Ep 11. We Fall

Oliver Queen has always had a strained relationship with his son, William. In his quest to keep his family safe, Oliver has made many questionable decisions that have resulted in William being taken away from him several times. However, in Arrow season 6 episode 11, titled "We Fall," Oliver finally begins to understand the true meaning of being a father and what it means to truly protect his loved ones.

The episode starts with Oliver contemplating the recent events that have taken place in his life. Meanwhile, William is struggling to come to terms with the fact that his father is the Green Arrow. He feels neglected and left out of his father's life, and this makes him susceptible to the manipulations of a new character who is introduced in this episode, a mysterious woman named Cayden James. James has a personal vendetta against the Green Arrow, and she sees William as a weak spot in Oliver's life. Using William as a pawn, James initiates a plan that puts the whole city in danger.

In true Arrow fashion, this episode is action-packed, with several intense fight scenes and moments of high stakes drama. However, what really sets "We Fall" apart is the emotional weight that it carries. The episode's central theme is family, and the various relationships that Oliver has built over the course of the series are put under the microscope. From his complicated relationship with Black Siren, to his growing understanding of what it means to be a father, Oliver's journey in this episode is as much about personal growth as it is about saving Star City from yet another threat.
