Ep 5. Prochnost

In the fifth episode of Arrow's eighth and final season, titled "Prochnost," Oliver and his team travel to Russia in order to obtain a weapon that will help them fight against "Crisis on Infinite Earths." Along the way, they come across some familiar faces and are met with unexpected challenges.

The episode begins with Oliver and John Diggle in Moscow, attempting to track down an old acquaintance of Oliver's named Anatoly Knyazev. They eventually find him and ask for his help in obtaining a weapon known as "Pulse." Anatoly agrees to help them, but only if they assist him in taking down a dangerous criminal organization known as the "Bratva."

Meanwhile, in Star City, Laurel Lance is still grappling with the aftermath of her trip to Earth-2. She seeks the help of her Earth-1 counterpart, who gives her some sage advice about accepting her past mistakes and moving forward.

Back in Russia, Oliver, Diggle, and Anatoly infiltrate the Bratva's headquarters, where they meet an unexpected ally in the form of Oliver's half-sister, Emiko. Emiko reveals that she has been working with the Bratva in order to take down a common enemy, and agrees to help Oliver and his team obtain Pulse.

The team successfully obtains Pulse, but the mission is not without its casualties. Emiko is gravely injured and must be rushed to a hospital. Meanwhile, Oliver and Diggle are captured by the Bratva and are sentenced to death.

With no other options, Oliver contacts his mother Moira in the future, who sends in a team of vigilantes to rescue them. The team includes the likes of Mia Smoak (Oliver's daughter), William Clayton (Oliver's son), and Connor Hawke (John Diggle Jr.). Together, they successfully rescue Oliver and Diggle and make their escape.

As the episode comes to a close, the team reflects on the sacrifices they have made and the challenges that still lie ahead. With Crisis on Infinite Earths looming, they know that their fight is far from over.

Overall, "Prochnost" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that sees the return of several fan-favorite characters and sets the stage for the epic crossover event that is on the horizon. Fans of Arrow will not want to miss this one.
