In this episode of Bad Ink season 2, entitled "Tat's Ink-redible," the focus is on two people with particularly bad tattoos. The first is a woman who has a giant, poorly executed tattoo of a fairy on her side. The second is a man who has some unfortunate lettering on his bicep.

First up is the woman with the fairy tattoo. She explains that she got the tattoo when she was 18, and that she now regrets it because it's too big and poorly done. The fairy's features are all blurry, and the wings are uneven. The woman also notes that the tattoo artist didn't even ask her what size she wanted the fairy to be before starting the tattoo.

Dirk and Ruckus are shocked by the size and poor quality of the tattoo, and set to work trying to figure out how to fix it. They start by brainstorming different designs that could cover up the fairy, and eventually settle on a watercolor butterfly. Dirk has to be particularly creative with the design because the woman's existing tattoo takes up so much space on her side, and because the fairy is such a dominant image.

Once they've come up with a design, the guys get to work on the actual tattoo. The woman is nervous about the pain, but says that it's worth it to finally have a tattoo that she likes. Dirk and Ruckus are careful as they work, making sure that the butterfly looks just right and that the colors are bright and vivid. When they're done, the woman is thrilled with the result. She says that she finally feels like her tattoo is a reflection of her personality and that she's proud to show it off.

Next up is the man with the lettering tattoo. He got the tattoo to commemorate a friend who had passed away, but the tattoo artist didn't do a very good job of spelling the friend's name. The ink is splotchy and uneven, and the letters are all different sizes. The man says that he's embarrassed to show the tattoo to anyone, but that he doesn't want to cover it up completely because it's a memorial to his friend.

Dirk and Ruckus understand the man's desire to keep the tattoo, and decide to work with what's already there. They come up with a design that incorporates the letters of the friend's name into a larger image of a clock. The clock is meant to symbolize how time moves on, but that memories of the friend will always be with the man.

As they work on the tattoo, Dirk and Ruckus talk to the man about his friend and what he meant to him. The man is emotional as he talks about his friend, and Dirk and Ruckus are able to create a tattoo that honors that friendship while also being visually appealing. The man is thrilled with the result, and says that he finally feels like he has a tattoo that he can be proud of.

Overall, this episode of Bad Ink is a testament to the power of good tattoo artists. Both of the people featured in the episode had terrible tattoos, but Dirk and Ruckus were able to work with them to create amazing new designs that they could be proud of. Tattoos are often meant to be permanent, which is why it's so important to choose a good tattoo artist. A bad tattoo can be a source of embarrassment and frustration for years, but a good tattoo can be a source of pride and joy for a lifetime.
