Ep 6. What Is Best in Life?

Rebecca Wright, the titular character of Bad Judge, finds herself with a difficult decision to make in season 1 episode 6, "What Is Best in Life?". As a judge, she must impartially determine the outcome of a custody battle between the parents of a young girl. The father is a former NFL player with a history of violent behavior, while the mother is a recovering drug addict who has turned her life around.

Meanwhile, Rebecca's personal life takes a complicated turn as she struggles with whether or not to attend a couples retreat with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary. She seeks advice from her friends Tedward and Tom, but ultimately makes her own decision.

The episode also features a subplot involving Rebecca's neighbor, who mistakenly believes she is being groomed for a romance by Tedward.

As always, Rebecca's antics provide plenty of laughs, but the episode also deals with serious issues such as addiction and domestic violence. Overall, "What Is Best in Life?" is a well-rounded episode that shows Bad Judge's ability to balance comedy and drama.
