Southern Justice follows law enforcement agents from Sullivan County, Tennessee and Ashe County, North Carolina, as they protect their unique, close-knit communities from every injustice under the sun. Headed by Sheriff Wayne Anderson of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff James Williams of the Ashe County Sheriff's Office, these two law enforcement agencies uphold the law with pure grit and compassion.

Southern Justice takes viewers on an exhilarating journey to backwater America where moonshine was once the drink of choice, and next to impossible for sheriffs to control. Today Sheriff Wayne Anderson and Sheriff James Williams have other substances to control, from the traditional meth and marijuana to synthetic drugs like bath salts and gravel.

While the appearance of synthetic drugs may suggest that these sheriffs are dealing with smalltime crimes committed by rich teenagers, Southern Justice shows that there is nothing small-time about the crimes (or the drugs) the two law enforcement agencies are required to deal with.

In the premiere episode of the unscripted show Sheriff Wayne Anderson launches a county-wide manhunt for a suspect who is accused of assaulting his father and girlfriend after illicitly using bath salts. Southern Justice takes pains to capture each story's enticing details, documenting each event, from the call to the sheriff's office, to the end of the chase.

The small-town location gives the reality show an intimacy rarely offered by unscripted cop and crime serials. Viewers see the impact each Sheriff and his department have on their respective towns. Law enforcement agents in Sullivan County, TN and Ashe County, NC, are not strangers to the people they protect, they are neighbors, friends, and family.

Southern Justice is packed with emotion, high-stakes drama, and two teams of brave law enforcers who will do whatever it takes to keep their communities safe.
