Ep 2. Shadow Of The Bat, Part II

Batman: The Animated Series season 2 episode 2, titled "Shadow Of The Bat, Part II," is a continuation of the previous episode's storyline. Commissioner Gordon has been framed for a crime he did not commit and has been arrested. Batman teams up with Batgirl to clear Gordon's name and bring the true culprit to justice.

The episode begins with Gordon being interrogated by two crooked cops, Montoya and Bullock, who are in the pocket of corrupt businessman, Roland Daggett. As Gordon maintains his innocence, Batman and Batgirl work together to gather evidence that will clear his name. They discover that the frame-up was orchestrated by Daggett, who had Gordon arrested in order to cover up his own involvement in a plot to steal a new weapon called the sonic disruptor.

Batman and Batgirl sneak into Daggett's headquarters and obtain evidence that proves Gordon's innocence. However, they are discovered by Daggett's men and a fight ensues. The two heroes manage to escape and bring the evidence to the police, but they soon realize that Montoya and Bullock have been assigned to handle the case.

Batman and Batgirl decide to take matters into their own hands and continue their investigation. They discover that Commissioner Gordon's daughter, Barbara, has been kidnapped by Daggett's henchmen. Batman and Batgirl infiltrate Daggett's hideout and rescue Barbara just in time.

As they make their way out of the building, they come face-to-face with Daggett and his men. A fierce battle ensues, and just when it seems like all hope is lost, the police arrive and apprehend the perpetrators. Gordon's name is cleared, and he is released from custody.

In the end, Batman and Gordon have a heart-to-heart conversation about the importance of justice and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it. The episode ends with Batman and Batgirl disappearing into the night, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
