Samantha is back again, and she is up to her old witchcraft again. It all starts when she tells her husband, Darrin, that she needs some time alone, and disappears to her mother's house. When Darrin begins to worry about her, he tracks her down and they have a heart-to-heart discussion about the truth.

Meanwhile, Samantha's mother, Endora, uses her own brand of magic to convince Darrin to tell the truth about all of the little lies he has been telling Samantha since they got married. As a result, Darrin becomes a truth-telling machine, and he starts to tell everyone he meets exactly how he feels about them.

The results are both hilarious and disastrous, as one-by-one, friends, family, and even strangers are offended by Darrin's honesty. But Samantha's magical intervention saves the day, and the two of them come up with a plan to restore the balance of honesty and diplomacy. In the end, they learn that honesty really is the best policy, but only when delivered with a little bit of tact and diplomacy.

Bewitched is a classic sitcom from the 1960s that follows the adventures of Samantha and Darrin Stephens, a couple that seems to have everything, but is constantly being pulled into wild and wacky situations because of Samantha's magical abilities. In season 2, episode 14, "Speak the Truth," the show takes a comedic approach to the classic idea of the truth-telling spell.

From telling his boss exactly what he thinks of him, to offending Samantha's mother by criticizing her cooking, Darrin's honesty is both hilarious and cringe-worthy.

But the heart of the episode is the relationship between Samantha and Darrin, and the way they work together to solve the problem of his truth-telling.
