This American show that involves two characters named Catherine Black and Dr. Helen Hartramph. Catherine is a neurologist who hides her bipolar disorder from everyone except her doctor. When Catherine had her first bipolar break she started seeing Dr. Helen Hartramph and continues to see the doctor for her bipolar disorder. The doctor has also provided a maternal figure for Catherine due to Catherine's mother had the same condition and ended up committing suicide. Catherine works at a company called "The Cube" located in NYC. Many doctors call "The Cube" the black box due to the work being provided there. The staff of this company are always challenged by the new and old cases being studied. Catherine is at the top of her game with her company work and also all the patients that are involved in the cube for diagnosis that includes rare, startling conditions. Dr. Helen H. is the only person that knows more about Catherine and her secrets and has promised to keep them safe. Dr. Helen H. is a very insightful and intuitive psychiatrist that also provides a mother figure for Catherine since she doesn't have one. Catherine does continue to return to see Dr Helen every week for advice, medication, and comfort for her disorder.
