Ep 2. The Mask of Madness

In Black Bullet season 1 episode 2, entitled "The Mask of Madness," we follow the continued adventures of Enju Aihara and Rentaro Satomi, a pair of Civil Security officers tasked with protecting Tokyo from deadly creatures known as Gastrea.

Raised in a lab and trained as a killer, Tina is now on the run from her former captors and is seeking refuge in Tokyo's underground city, where she hopes to find a place to belong.

As their paths converge, Enju and Rentaro find themselves drawn into Tina's troubles and must decide whether to risk their own lives to protect her. Along the way, they learn more about the dark secrets behind Tina's past and come face-to-face with their own prejudices and biases.

"The Mask of Madness" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that showcases the complex world-building and layered characters that make Black Bullet such a compelling series.
