Ep 2. Blood Price (2)

Blood Ties is a Canadian television series that originally aired from 2007-2008. The show follows a former Toronto police officer named Vicki Nelson (played by Christina Cox), who becomes a private investigator after being diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease that would eventually lead to blindness. Along with her assistant, Henry Fitzroy (played by Kyle Schmid), who also happens to be a vampire, Vicki investigates supernatural cases in an effort to save her failing career and her own life.

In episode 2 of season 1, titled "Blood Price (2)," Vicki and Henry continue their investigation into the disappearance of Christina, the daughter of Vicki's former partner on the police force, Mike Celluci (played by Dylan Neal). With the help of Vicki's tech-savvy friend, Coreen (played by Gina Holden), they begin to unravel the mystery surrounding Christina's vanishing act.

The three discover that Christina had been involved in a secret society that was obsessed with the occult, and that she had been trying to track down a mysterious book that was said to contain the key to immortality. With the help of a reluctant member of the society, Vicki and Henry are able to obtain the book, but not before they are confronted by a group of dangerous and deadly supernatural beings.

As the investigation heats up, Vicki finds herself drawn back into her old life as a police officer, and she eventually teams up with Mike to try and bring the criminal elements of the occult society to justice. Along the way, Vicki and Henry begin to develop a deeper understanding of each other, and it becomes clear that their working relationship is more than just professional.

The tension builds as Vicki and her team race against time to prevent the ancient book from falling into the wrong hands, and to keep innocent people from becoming collateral damage in their quest for the truth. Will Vicki be able to balance her professional obligations with her desire for justice, and will Henry be able to resist the temptation of his own vampiric urges? Only time will tell in this thrilling episode of Blood Ties.
