Ep 7. Nightmares

Danny and Jackie investigate the murder of a high-end escort found floating in the East River. While questioning her clients, they discover a common thread linking them to a possible threat to the women in their lives. As the investigation continues, it leads Danny to confront his own demons and nightmares from his time as a Marine in Iraq.

Meanwhile, Jamie is on bike patrol and witnesses a car accident. He manages to pull the driver out just as the car bursts into flames. When the driver's son informs Jamie that his father has been receiving death threats, Jamie and his partner begin to investigate, leading them down a dangerous path.

Elsewhere, Erin is prosecuting a case against a man who is accused of embezzling from his employer. However, when the defendant's lawyer turns the tables on Erin, questioning her motives and integrity, she begins to doubt herself and her abilities as a prosecutor. Frank's advice and encouragement help her regain her confidence and stay focused on the case.

Throughout the episode, the Reagan family is dealing with their own personal issues and nightmares. Frank is struggling with his feelings of guilt over not being able to help a colleague who is suffering from PTSD. Meanwhile, Jamie is grappling with the danger of being a police officer and the fear of losing his loved ones. Danny confronts memories of his time in Iraq that haunt him, while Linda tries to support him and help him through his struggles. Finally, Erin is facing the pressure of her job and the scrutiny of her choices both in and out of the courtroom.

As the episode unfolds, the Reagan family must come together to face their fears and nightmares, both personal and professional.
